Flinders Lane Melbourne.

Flinders lane is a busy area near the CAE. This painting is my impression of the mixture of business people, shoppers and students who enjoy to meet here for lunch and coffee. Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. SOLD

Hi Sandra,
You have captured the combination of cityscape/caffe` scene & suits beautifully here in your unmistakable style! Love the colours and tones you have used and the blockiness of it which screams 'citta`' - city! I have a fondness for Melbourne and would take a trip here each year - so i know the city very well!
Flinders Lane is wonderful as is your painting of it!!!!!
Ciao!

Hi Perugina! Thank you for your comment...
Melbourne is a beautiful city and ever changing. But, there are still many of these little old areas, hidden amongst the modern developments.

I know this place. In fact Alvaro Castagnet actually did a DVD demo of this a few years ago.
I like your cool palette and geometry.
