Staff Meeting

One day I was late for a staff meeting. There were no seats left so I just sat on the floor at the back. The view was rather interesting so I decided to make a pencil sketch. I added the colours at home later. It was one of the most productive staff meetings I have ever attended.

Sandra, i wish you could have been here while i read this.. i laughed and laughed at your last comment - "It was one of the most productive staff meetings I have ever attended” .. I hear that girlfriend!!!
Actually… I remember the most productive staff meetings were always held in the art/craft store room after I would make off with the key (art supplies were always locked away) .. I would rally the troops (i.e. the same grade teachers and we would raid the supplies as we were all very much into art – for our children of course!!) shh.. I don’t know how I managed this as the keys were always with the deputy (sheriff – named DH – don’t ask) always slung on his belt.. much like a gun! - lol!!!!! Oh.. I do miss the shenanigans..
Your great painting/pencil sketch from this unusual perspective and its description here has had me reminiscing some great times.
Love, always love,
pg

PS.. if questioned.. "deny everything!" ;)

JJ:thank you...glad you like this one ...it was fun to do.

Margaret: Thanks Marg. It is also easy to recognise the individuals...despite the 'back view' aspect.

Perugina:Your secret is safe with me!!
I am pleased you like this , as I said it was such fun to do and so easy to pick out who was who.
Three of those staff members are still there at the school.

This painting is so awesome. I LOVE IT! And I despise meetings, but you sure took great advantage of a good vantage point. Not sure I could get up off the floor after sitting thru a meeting, tho. You're so creative!

Sandy I think you are the most creative artist and the most energetic. Your words mean such a lot to me and I thank you sincerlely for your comments.
As for getting up off the floor after the meeting ...well, it was just a bit awkward...I can't say I did it with grace and dignity!!!

I like the look of this. it would be funny to find out they were doing the same thing.

Hi Nick!
No, they wouldn't have been doing the same thing ...they were listening intently to whatever was on the agenda for the day....two of them were phys.ed.(guess which) one English and one needlecraft.
