Uluru

Another small test run from the trip through the "red centre". I will probably do a few of these before I actually work out what(and how) I want to paint any larger works. I have a few ideas running about in my head but nothing that moves me to put brush to canvas...yet!

The Red Centre

This is actually the first properly finished painting that I have made from my trip to Central Australia, in June/July earlier this year. Let's hope I have "broken the drought". I am really looking forward to getting back into some serious work and hopefully make some real progress. It is a watercolour on Yupo.

The Gorge

My first watercolour in a long while. I had great plans to record my trip to Central Australia in lots of paintings... and I did think, that by now, I would have plenty to show. However it was not to be and all I have managed to produce so far is this small watercolour....at least it is a start!

Near Somerset Crossing

This was another watercolour from near the Goulburn River at Seymour. There is such a lot of wonderful scenery in and around our town. The culvert in this painting was made many years back from bluestone and was part of the old highway between Melbourne and Sydney.

Goulburn River Seymour.

I found this image in my archives. I painted it some time back and it was sold almost immediately. W&N watercolour on Arches Rough 300gsm.
