River Rocks

The Goulburn River passes through granite country. These rocks are close to the river bank and extend into the water. This is a good river to fish for trout in the upper reaches and Murray cod in the lower reaches, toward the Murray River. The painting is acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas.

Thanks flicker! A little river faerie skimming across the surface could get swallowed by the legendary "Goulburn Jack"....a HUGE cod fish that frequents these waters.(so say the fishermen!)
