The Goulburn River passes through g ranite country. These rocks are close to the river bank and extend into the water.This is a good river to fish for trout in the upper reaches and Murray cod in the lower reaches, toward the Murray River.

Thanks flicker! A little river faerie skimming across the surface could get swallowed by the legendary "Goulburn Jack"....a HUGE cod fish that frequents these waters.(so say the fishermen!)
