Melbourne in Spring

This painting is set in Swanston Street Melbourne, Victoria Australia.I think the title says it all.Springtime in Melbourne is quite special. The young man in the foreground seemed to be a student ( possibly late for class) Others, were simply enjoying the brilliant morning. watercolour ..size ..36cm x 53cm (14" x 21")

Love that tree, Sandy, and how the guy's shadow extends down to the front of pic, great comp! Spring for you - we just got our first snow.

Hi there Sandra,
Your painting makes me want to "pack the bags" and head on down!
I miss Melbourne... especially in Spring... we would always come down that time of the year.

Hi Perugina....Thanks for 'dropping in.' You will have to try and make it down here next spring.
