Teenagers

This painting (pastel)was one I did some time ago. It quickly sold to the owner of these young ostriches.Recently, I had occasion to visit and was pleased to re-acquaint myself with this early pastel. The name "Teenagers" seemed appropriate because they reminded me of my (then) teenage male students who towered over me and looked down with what I thought was a very a similar somewhat arrogant look.As well, these young birds, hung about together...typical teenagers!
